AVIS THAMES, 68, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2020. She was born September 23, 1952 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late A. J. Sr. and Jewelene Bonner. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She leaves to cherish memories: husband, Ulysses; daughter, Eulysia “Lisa” Thames; son, Davin (Tiffany) Thames; six grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; and many family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock. (501) 372-1305. Homegoing Services will be held in the Ruffin & Jarrett Chapel, Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 11 a.m. Burial will be 1 p.m., Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery.
