Bennie Mae Fort Brooks, 80, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life April 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bennie Fort and Mary Duhart; husband, Alton Brooks; and a sister, Florene Fort Armstrong. She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Alton Brooks; daughter, Kimberly Turner; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
There will be a walk-through visitation, Friday, April 15, 2022, 12 noon to 5 p.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. Masks are required and social distancing is observed. The Homegoing service will be Saturday, April 16, 2022, 11 a.m., also at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home. Interment follows at Rest in Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, Ark.
Bennie was a sweet, Christian woman. She loved her family and friends and treated everyone with respect.
She was a very caring lady and displayed this compassion by choosing a professional career of compassion and service. She will truly be missed by many..
