Charlie L. Scales, 68, of Little Rock, Ark, departed this life on April 16, 2020. He was a member of Greater Second Baptist Church and was active in several ministries. Charlie was a graduate of Horace Mann High School.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Elnora Clayborn; wife, Carolyn Lunnie-Scales; children, Sean, Shannon, and Sherrand Scales; step-daughter, Ashley Woods-White; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; seven sisters and six brothers; and, a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Viewing is 1-5 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2020 at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2020 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Hwy. 161.

I remember Charlie while growing up in Alexander, Arkansas I was a few years younger. But one thing I remember was that he was fun-loving and he had a great laugh my condolences and prayers go out to the family.
I worked with Charlie at St. Vincent’s Hospital , while I was in high school . He was always nice and funny. My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
