  • To the Willis Family
We are truly sadden to hear about the recent passing of Clover Mae Willis. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. I know that the family and friends will be there for you with strong words of love and support. May we also remember that God will also be there for us. As the scriptures truly reveal, God is a God of tender mercy and comfort. ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) In God’s love for us, He takes the time to make known this wonderful promise so that all can read it, and draw comfort from these words. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. There God tells us that He would soon use His great powers to restore life back to our love ones who have died. In fact, the above promise serves as a personal guarantee from God that life will be restored back to a great host of people like Clover Mae. This arrangement is possible not only because of God’s love for us, but also because God is the source of life for all created things. Yes even if a person dies, that person can be made whole again.( Psalm 36:9) This promise hope regarding the resurrection blessing from God is made loud and clear in the Bible. In fact there are nine such accounts that speaks of people who had their lives restored back to them. All such accounts serves as a future preview of the grand blessing to come from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-39. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Clover Mae, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
