Elizabeth George, born November 15, 1960, passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 64, Liz as she was affectionately called was a longtime employee of 35 years with Dillard’s Corporate Office before retiring.
She was an avid reader of novels and enjoyed relaxing with scented candles and games that kept her mind sharp.
Liz leaves behind three sisters, Belinda Mitchell, Wanda Anderson, and Antionette George.
Four brothers, Michael George, Antonio George, John George, and Darrell George, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Liz was preceded in death by her father, John Lewis George, mother, Rosie Lee Fagan, and sister Sonia Faye Ray.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 12-1 p.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home with services immediately following. Services will be livestreamed on the Ruffin and Jarrett’s Facebook page.
