Hazel Bullock departed this life on January 28, 2026, at the age of 106. She was a proud graduate of Philander Smith University and the University of Arkansas. Mrs. Bullock retired from Central High School after an exemplary 47-year career dedicated to educating and inspiring students across Arkansas.
She was a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (Beta Pi Omega Chapter), a devoted member of Miles Memorial CME Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, and an active member of the Philander Smith University Alumni Association.
She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Miles Memorial CME Church, 1800 East Capital St, Little Rock, AR, 72202.
Mrs. Bullock was my teacher in the 70s at LRCH.
She was involved and commanding in her approach to teaching. She was tough and fair. I really did respect her personally and professionally. My sincere sympathies to her family at this time.
