Henrietta Ellison Williams, Ph.D., 70, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023. She was born October 6, 1953, in West Helena, Ark. to Claude Ellison and Evelyn Cobb Finley, both whom precede her in death.
Henrietta leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Alonzo D. Williams, Jr., John Williams; one daughter, Elissa Williams of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Jordan Shavers and Zoey Williams, also of Little Rock, Ark.
She leaves to mourn her passing: one sister, Emily Wilson of Little Rock; one brother, Kirk Ellison (Cammie) of Selma, Ala.; a special niece that was like a daughter, Desiree Ellison; adopted daughter, Donna Tucker-Blackwell; former spouse and friend Alonzo D. Williams, Sr., M.D., of Little Rock; and
host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Ann Stanford; brothers, Charles Ellison and Claude Ellison Jr.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at The Bible Church in Little Rock, Ark., Pastor Tim Senn. The burial will take place at Arkansas Memorial Garden, Garden 5, in Little Rock, Ark., by Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home Little Rock. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 10 a.m. also at the Bible Church.
