Ida Hall – 1931-2024

IDA MAE HALL, 92, of Little Rock, found sweet and everlasting peace on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:35 a.m. Her passing marked a chapter completed, a page turned, a life well lived and a rest well earned.

Ida was born on August 24, 1931, in Little Rock, Ark., the beautiful daughter to the late Jessie Hill and Willie Baxter.

She is survived by children, Janice Gaillard, Michael Hall, Ronnie (Debbie) Hall, Jerry (Monica) Hall, and Clarice Hall, of Little Rock, Charles (Valerie) Hall, of Benton, Juanita (Mitchell), of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Greg Hall, of Arlington, Texas; seventeen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Hall; son-in-law, Jerry Horton; sisters-in-law, Mable Moore and Rose Hall; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews, a host of cousins, life-long friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hall, Jr.; beloved daughter, Brenda Hall Horton; beloved son, James Hall III; beloved granddaughter, Courtney Hall; and beloved siblings, Zola Mae Chambers Thomas, Willie Chambers, and Robert Smith.

For providing such compassionate care, unconditional love and support for Ida, there is a very special thank you, within our hearts, for Samantha “Sam” Watt, AGPC at Hillcrest Family Clinic, Dr. Mariann Harrington, Dr. Christian Simmons, Ann, Kori, Claudia, and the team at Kavanaugh Pharmacy, and our Gentiva Hospice Care family.

Family Hour: Friday, May 10, 6-7 p.m. Celebration of Life: Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11 a.m., both services held at Harris Temple Baptist Church, 11611 Hwy 365 South, Little Rock, Ark.
