Jay Wilkerson, 61, transitioned to be with his Lord and Savior on August 15, 2024.
Preceding him in death are his bonus parents, Howard and Jeanette Poe.
He leaves to recall his loving memories, his best friend and companions, Neal Poe and Gus; sister, Donna (Wayne) Adams; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Shannon) Adams, Abigail, Oliver, Eleanor and Meghan (Dave) Robertson.
His long illness began in October 2020, which he fought as hard as possible, until his Lord and Savior called him home.
Services for Jay will be Friday, September 13, 2024, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, kindly give to the Liver Foundation, info@livingliver.org.
