  • To the Williams Family:
We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Joey Williams. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire
Family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. Yes this is certainly a time period where words of loving kindness and comfort will be needed by all. I know that you will strive to share comforting words to all. We must also remember that God will also be there for us. As the scriptures reveal, God is a God of tender mercy and comfort. ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) Yes, our God shares true comforting words for all those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one or friend. For a brief moment, please take note of the comforting words that He shares with us. From the scriptures He tells us that we are near the time period when He would use His great powers to restore life back to those who have died. (John 5:28-29) Yes He will call, and our departed loved ones will respond by standing up in life again. Indeed what a joyous time period this will prove to be. This arrangement will be possible because God is the source of life for all living things. (Psalms 36:9)
Even if a person dies, God has the power to make any person whole again. And to assist all people from around the world to develop strong faith in this future blessing, God has taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessings that are near at hand. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that the family members and friends will get the chance to see how these verses will apply to Joey, and to many others as they await the awakening from the deep sleep of death. So in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
