Johnnie Daniel, Jr., 89, of Little Rock, passed away, November 20, 2021. He was born April 14, 1932, in Scott, Ark., to Johnnie and Betty Daniel. Preceding him in death are his parents and wife, Rose Marie Daniel.
He was a devoted church member and deacon of Mt. Sinai Christian Church in North Little Rock, Ark. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Arkansas Baptist College in 1956. He retired from the V.A. Hospital after 30 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Lisa Lovelace (Elvis), Phillip Daniel and Larry Daniel; sisters, Marzella Purvis, Katheryn Coleman and Betty Hawes.
The graveside service will be Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland, North Little Rock, Ark. The walk-through visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. Masks are required and social spacing is observed.
