Leroy Jackson Sr., a retired United States Marine Corps Master Gunnery Seargent (USMC) who served over 22 years in the United States Marine Corps.
A native of Hawkinsville, GA, and a resident of Little Rock, AR, for over 40 years, passed away at Baptist Health Hospital on December 21, 2025.
He is survived by Amy J. Jackson, his loving wife and devoted wife of 60 years; his only son Leroy Jackson Jr. (a retired USMC Staff Sergeant) of San Diego, CA; one brother, Kerry Jackson (a retired USMC Gunnery Sergeant) of California; and two aunts, Emma Jean Jackson and Virginia McCormick, both of Miami, FL.
A Visitation will be held Monday, January 5,2025 from 5-7 p.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 3221 S. Gaines St, Little Rock.
Interment will follow immediately after funeral service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave, NLR, AR, 72120.
