Lettie Mae Taylor, 92, of Little Rock, AR, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born to the late Nathaniel, Sr., and Mary Benson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Taylor; two daughters, Brenda Acklin and Mary Taylor; and one son, Joseph L. Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Letter D. Taylor; four sons, Clifton Taylor, Gary Taylor, Larry Taylor (Beverly), and Lee Taylor (Vaderal); two sisters, Carolyn Britt (Wesley) and Patricia Long; one brother, Nathaniel Benson, Jr.; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lettie Mae Taylor was retired from the Salvation Army where she enjoyed cooking for the homeless. Her hobbies included fishing, making beaded jewelry, and painting.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 21, 2022, 9:30 a.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. Masks are required and social distancing is observed. Services will be livestreamed on the Ruffin & Jarrett Facebook Page. Burial will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery, 2523 Springer Blvd. Walk-through visitation will be 12 noon-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
