Maria Arlene Gibson, 60, departed this life November 22,2018. Maria served our nation in the Navy and Army, retired June 2018. Maria leaves behind her son, Abduraman Gibson of Little Rock, and three siblings, Marvis (Gary McVay) Edgeston of Jacksonville, Madelon (Lawrence) Waters of Tulsa, OK, and Morris Canady (Rachel) of Atlanta, Ga. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m., November 29, 2018 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. 72120.     With heavy hearts we express our personal condolences to the family and friends of Maria Gibson. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this time of great sadness. Yes it is a difficult time for all. Once again we have lost another special person in death. With the lost come s great emotional grief and suffering. Yes we know just what you are dealing with, we have all been there. Now I know that the many family members and friends will be there for you with strong words of comfort and support. But we should also remember that God Himself will be there for us also. There is no better source of comfort and support then what I Creator of life can provide for us. And why not, since the scriptures reveal His of the God of tender mercy and comfort. (2Corinthians 1:3-4). Yes all grieving hearts who are suffering over a personal lose are in God’s memory. God remembers the things that causes us suffering, and has promised to take the necessary steps to remove them away from His earthly family. To the Gibson family, this a promise that God wants you to know about. In fact, not only to your family, but to all families of the earth who are grieving over the lost of a love one or friend. Please take note of this wonderful promise from God. God states in this promise that He would soon call to those in the grave, and that our love ones would hear His voice and stand up in life again. (John 5:28-29). From this text God is giving us His personal guarantee that Maria and billions of others will have their lives restored back to them. That Maria will be reunited back with family members and friends. Then to aide all to have strong faith in this loving promise, Godhaspreserved nineaccounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand arrangement soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. May these verses provide true comfort for all of your grieving hearts. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it always becomes reality. For God does not lie. ( Titus 1:2)
