Patsy Ruth Cooksey, 74, entered into Heavenly rest on Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Acie and Elorna Cooksey; six siblings, Acie Cooksey, Jr., Dorothy Falls, Dorothy Cooksey Brown, Pearlie Lucille Cooksey, Phillip Cooksey, Sr., and Wendi Cooksey.
She leaves her legacy behind to be cherished by her three children, Schree Cooksey, Tony Cooksey and Alicia Smith; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
There will be a viewing on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the church 10-11 a.m., New Hope Baptist Church, and the funeral service will start at 11 a.m. at the church.
