Phillip Anthony Toombs, Sr., 69, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on January 24, 2024. A visitation will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Union AME Church 1825 Pulaski Street Little Rock, Ark.

this man gave me some awesome advice one day at a time when I was in a bad way!!!!!!
I will always appreciate him for taking a minute with me and investing in me…to help me get through the toughest time of my life…..
His inspiring words I just used last week telling the story of how Toombs pulled me to the side on 4C one morning when he saw I was not in a good way that morning..he sensed it and took initiative to speak to me.
His legacy to me will be that moment when man to man he saw fit to simply help me when I was hurting…..
I will always tell this story to others how this man made a positive difference in my life…..
If we all take a minute to help others like Toombs helped me that day……this world would be a better place.
