Ramon Phillips was born October 26, 1941, to the late Jones and Lue Gussie Phillips of Lakeview, Ark. He lived 82 years until God requested his presence with him Friday, August 30, 2024.
He leaves to celebrate and cherish his loving memories his wife, Bobbie King Phillips; daughters, Kimberly Phillips Rossum (Eli) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Shannon Phillips of Little Rock, Ark., Kristina Dodson of McKinney, Texas; and son, John Phillips of Cedar Hill, Texas; stepsons Andre’ King and Gerald Lewis, both of Little Rock, Ark.; bonus son, Nicholas Moore of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, Eric Cross (Danica) of Little Rock, Brandon Davis of Irving, Texas, Keelan Rossum of Cedar Hill, Texas, Brittaney King of Melbourne, Fla., Traecen, Jaziah, Kaecen, and Noriah Dupree, all of McKinney, Texas; siblings, Samuel L. Phillips and Lue Gussie Kelley, both of Little Rock, Ark., Johnie Blake of Waller, Texas, and Mable Cook of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be September 13, 2024, 5-7 p.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. Funeral service on Saturday, 11 a.m., September 14, 2024, Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 8815 W. 34th Street, Little Rock, Ark.
