Russell Lewis, III, 73, of Little Rock, Ark., joined his Heavenly Father on January 6, 2023. He was born October 4, 1949, to Fannie Marie and the late Russell Lewis Jr.
Russell was the father of four daughters, Tina Thompson Lewis, Kimberly Quarles both of Little Rock, Ark., Jennifer Lewis of Madison, Ala., and Jessica Lewis-Jackson of Sherwood, Ark.; three sons, Bryan Lewis (Tina), Eric Gray of Arlington, Texas, and Aaron Lewis of Loveland, Colo.; grandfather to 10 grandchildren; brother to three siblings, Ronald Lewis, Cynthia Horton (Russell), and Corinne Altheimer, all of Little Rock, Ark. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Russell graduated from Fuller High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church in Sweet Home, Ark., his whole life.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, 11 a.m., at Allen Chapel AME Church, 6700 Hwy 365 Little Rock, Ark. 72206. The viewing will be held at 10 a.m. (one hour prior to service starting), also at Allen Chapel.
Very sorry about the tremendous loss to your family. I pray that the days to follow will bring comfort to each of you . May you remember the happy times you spent with Russell until we meet again.
