“No matter what your trials are, or how big your mountain seems; The Lord is there to see you through; He’ll go to all extremes.
So if your cross seems hard to bear; and you know not what to do; The One who loves you most of all will be there to see you through.”
Resolution of Respect in Loving Memory of Mr. Silvester Wheeler
Paul said in 1st Corinthians 12: 20 & 26a, “Now there are many members but one body, and if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; …”
WHEREAS, the passing of your loved one has left an empty space, but we acknowledge and accept the will of God. For, Jesus said to Martha at the loss of her brother Lazarus; “I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
Yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26.
WHEREAS, we, The New Mt. Gilead Church family wish to express our sorrow in the loss of your loved one, Mr. Silvester Wheeler and in honor of his memory we extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the families, and in particular to his nephew, Dea. Joe Hayes (Jami) who are active and faithful members of our Church.
WHEREAS, God, in His infinite wisdom, in His own time has called Mr. Silvester Wheeler from labor to reward and though it may seem overwhelming and difficult to bear at times, may you find comfort in the words of this hymn:
“Be not dismayed whatever betide, God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.
No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast, God will take care of you.”
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED We will continue to pray, that God will give each of you strength to endure. Because, NO amount of time can prepare us for loss, and NONE of us can fully understand your sorrow. But, remember many hearts are with you today, hoping and praying that you will have the strength you need to see you through this difficult time.
Humbly Submitted,
The New Mt. Gilead Baptist Church family
