Virlean Fisher, 81, of Maumelle, Ark., has gone through the heavenly gates to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2021. Missing her smiles are: her husband, Garland Fisher; daughters, Jewel Edwards, Regina Hunt and Anita Hammons, all of Maumelle, and Shelia Waller-McGehee; one son, Thomas Hare, Buffalo, N.Y.; siblings, Patricia Reed-McGehee, James Coppedge, Livonia, Mich., and Charles Beasley-McGehee.

God bless each of you. Our heart felt sympathy to the Fisher and Hunt family. Mrs. Fisher was a very good friend of our family for many years. Some of the kids might remember she would come to Dumas every Saturday morning to the beauty shop to get her hair done and to talk with mom about us. She was a very strong women who did not mind speaking her mind. We loved her for that. Gone but not forgotten.
