WILLIE R. SLAY, 84, of Little Rock, transitioned to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior. His wife, Ruth, preceded him in death. He was blessed with three children; Chauncey, Vicki and Patrick.
He later married Gladys Boyd. Left to cherish his memory: his wife, Gladys, his children and step-children, Chauncey, Vicki and Patrick and Lamont Boyd (Maggie), Reggie Boyd and Kimberly Whitley (Bryan); sister, Tommye Jean Eaton; grandchildren, Cassius, Chauncey Jr., Andre Patrick Jr., and Asa; and a host of nieces nephews cousins and friends.
Walk-through viewing on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 12-4:30 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home. Graveside service, 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery.
