Johnny “JR” Stephens, 71, of Little Rock, transitioned on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was born on June 9, 1954.
He worked for the State of Arkansas, Greyhound, and Central Arkansas Transit.
He is survived by three children: Ivan Lamont Stephens, Tamara Stephens, Johnny R. Stephens; six grandchildren, Demetrius, Destyne, Damarius Barton, Johnny Stephens, Izayah Stephens, Jatori Steward; Siblings, Erma Sims (Alex), Freddie Stephens (Paula), Lee Stephens (Myra), Mary Walters, Penny Wright, Christopher Drake; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow at the aforementioned location.
