Lt. Col.(Retired) RALPH LOWELL WHITE of Little Rock, Ark., will celebrate the earthly and now eternal life. He began his wonderful new journey with the Heavenly Father on Dec. 31. “The Colonel” was born in Decatur, Ala. After graduating from Alabama A&M, he began his career in the U.S. Air Force and successfully retired in 1972 at the LRAFB where he had served as the first African American Squadron Commander. Throughout his 88 years, he touched, inspired and motivated many lives and will forever remain in our hearts.
He has now joined his beautiful wife as they watch over children, Ronnie, Lorrie and Kimberly White and granddaughter, Kirsten; sisters Jean Miller and Julianne (Walter) Lacy; brothers, Ken Rogers (Cora), and Edmond. He will be missed by all, including those of his extended family, friends and loved ones.
Home going services will be January 7 at 10 a.m. at Allison Presbyterian Church, Rev. Marion A. Humphrey, officiating, 922 Wright Ave, Little Rock. Interment will follow the service at the Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery, North Little Rock at 12 noon, Monday, January 7, 2019.
