“May the works I’ve done, speak for me”. Ms. Alice Faye was one of the three shining stars in our lunchroom at Columbia High School. They prepared wholesome, nutritional meals for us as students. They were there to help discipline and counsel because they knew our story. Ms. Alice Faye was one who would give you extras, if you would go back for seconds. Not only did she touch our lives at school, but she was also a viable part of our lives in the church, where she was a musician and in the community because of her boys. She was one of the last matriarchs in our community. Rest well Ms. Alice Faye, take your rest. We know you have the heavenly choir singing with beautiful melody. We will see you later.
