  • To the Thrower Family:
We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Bessie Thrower. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. Although we have once again entered a period of darkness, God’s inspired word the Bible continues to remind us about the wonderful blessing that God would extend to those who have died. This timely reminder comes in the form of a promise from God. The recorded promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. As the text states, that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Indeed what a comforting promise this truly is. From this one text, God is giving us His personal guarantee that persons like Bessie, and a great host of others will have the hope of living again. That in the very near future Bessie would once again be reunited back with her many family members and friends. This arrangement of restoring of life is something that God surely can do. Again the scriptures reminds us that God is the source of life for all living things. (Psalm 36:9) Yes, even if a person dies, God has the desire and the power to make that person whole again. Then to assist all ion developing strong faith in this future blessing, God has taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this grand blessing this is ever so near at hand. Here is just once such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Bessie, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from our enemy death. In closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie.

  • My condolences to the family. Bessie and my mother Gladys were childhood friends. Bessie was always kind and a caring mother. She was my beautician throughout adolescence through my early career. She always supported my goals. We had so many long conversations over the years. She will be missed. The last time I saw her was at my wedding. The family will be in my thoughts and prayers. With love Tootie.
