Bobbie Loyce Goodson Watson, 97, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born November 1, 1927. Bobbie was a graduate of Tuskegee University where she was crowned Miss Tuskegee 1947-48 and chartered the Gamma Tau chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In addition to her training as a master seamstress, Mrs. Watson served Arkansas’s El Dorado School District and the Houston Independent School District for a combined 30 years as an elementary educator.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Carla Davis-Gregory (Ronald), Hugh P. Watson, Jr (Misty), Tracy Sterling, and Garbo Hearne (Archie), as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11 a.m at New Millennium Church, 21 Lakeshore Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204.
She was beautiful inside and out and was truly our angel.
