Paulia Ann Harris, 71, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, in Little Rock, Ark.
Born to Henderson and Alider Harris in the same city, she was a graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School and Shorter College. Paulia deeply loved the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and sports fan, dividing her time between reading books and watching and watching ball games on television. She was also blessed with a beautiful voice and was an active member of the choir at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church, which she joined in 2001 to continue her walk with Christ.
Greeting Paulia in heaven are her parents; her brother, Fred Allen Harris; and her great-granddaughter, Alani Robinson.
She leaves behind her children, Venus (Will) Torrence, Amber Porter, Kameron (Priscilla) Anthony; grandchildren, Asia Anthony, McKenna Torrence, Chloe Torrence, Athena Carroll, Darnell Anthony, Marley Anthony, and Zion Anthony; great-granddaughter, Amora Robinson; siblings, Stella Sanders, David (Karren) Harris, Teresa Wallace, Michael (Barbara) Harris, and Sidney (Cherryl) Harris; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
