Richard M. Timmons, was born September 3, 1941, in Winchester, Ark., to the late Richmond and Beatrice Timmons. He was preceded in death by his loving and caring wife, Charlene Davis Timmons. He departed this life on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Hospice Home Care. He leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Michelle Timmons; brother, Calvin Timmons; sisters, Nellie Calvin and Maxine Timmons, all of Little Rock; three grandchildren; and, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 4, 2021, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 701 S. Gaines, Little Rock. Mr. Timmons will lie in state at the Church from 10 to 11 a.m., on Thursday. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock.
