Deacon Earl Arthur Rainey, 84, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away on June 18, 2026. He was born on August 15, 1941 to the late Gus and Orline Rainey.
He was preceded in death by his first love Vernita Rainey, his brother, Coy Rainey, son in love, Gene Alexander, grandsons, Brandon and Braylon, and great grandson Trayvion.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: one brother, Fred Johnson; daughters, Marnita Williams, Sharilyn Patterson, Connie Morgan, and Veronica Alexander; two sons, Earl (Angela) Rainey and Rodney (Lori) Rainey; thirteen grandchildren, Tamara, Shanara, Aaron, Almetres, Shecara, Shantrice, Carmen, Candace, Roderick, Cory, Arielle, Darius, and Gianna; and a host of great grands and two great-great grands.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 3725 Hwy 161, North Little Rock, AR, 72117.
A viewing will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. at the aforementioned location.
