Allen “Tex” Phillips, Jr, 82, of Little Rock, AR, peacefully transitioned from his home on August 24, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1944.
Allen’s survivors include; wife, Alice Charles Phillips; children: Allison Philips, Allen (Tera) Phillips, III, Alton (Amber) Phillips, Sr., Cynthia (Jerry) Rucker, Winthrop (Karatha) McWright, Wendell McWright. Siblings include; Elijah (Gloria) Phillips, Elizabeth Higgins, and Dorothy Bryant.
He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A Family Hour will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 6-7 p.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1915 Commerce Street, Little Rock, AR.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the aforementioned location.
Interment will follow at Rest in Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Arkansas.
