Mrs. Antoinette Marie Smith Merriman, 84, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on July 31, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1942.
Survivors include: Two children, Reverend Michael Banks (Lisa), and LaNette Fair Latting; two sisters, Mrs. Cynthia (William), Holt of Kennesaw, Ga., and Mrs. Myrtis (Bobby) Spencer of St. Louis, Mo.; her grandchildren, Paris Shipman, Cameron Loving, Jade Bowen, Michael Banks, Jr. (Joanna), Jamese Jacobs (Kevin), Kandace Banks, Jalyn Banks, and Larry Banks; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, other relatives, and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew African Methodist Church, 3003 Bishop Street, Little Rock, Ark., 72206. Interment will follow at Have of Rest Cemetery, 7102 W. 12th St, Little Rock, Ark., 72204.
