Belinda Jean White Butler, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bertram W. Butler, her parents, Robert White, Sr. and Tishialu White; sister Sharon D. Gardner; brothers Robert D. White, Jr., John F. White and brothers-in-law Alfred Gardner Jr. and Robert Perry.
Belinda leaves to cherish her loving memories a daughter, Belia Butler, of Little Rock and a son Bertram (Sigourney) Butler of Hoover, Ala.; three granddaughters Alexsis Scott of Little Rock and Layla and Kennedi Butler of Hoover, Ala.; two sisters, Devonalu Perry of Fort Washington, Md., Phyllis (Earl) Battle of Plano, Texas and one sister-in-law Rita Ann Butler, of Little Rock, Ark., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Family hour will be Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Bethel AME, 815 W. 16th Street, LR at 10-11 a.m.
A celebration of her life will be Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. also at Bethel AME, with interment following at Oakland-Fraternal Cemetery.
Auntie Jean, you were sweet as pie. I was so very blessed to have you 50+ years. I will miss you so much. I will cherish our memories. RIL
