Boston L. Torrence Jr., 95, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020. Boston was preceded in death by his parents: Boston L. Sr. and Nancy Pumphrey Torrence; sister, Rosalia and brothers, Herchiel, Harrell, Andrew, Richard and Preston Torrence. Survivors include: five children, Sandra Baugh, Francetta Torrence, Judy Fluker, Diane (Larry) Moses and Boston L. Torrence, III; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be limited to family. There will be a viewing Friday, March 27, 2020, from 12-6 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. (501) 372-1305. A public life celebration will be held at a later date.
Sandra Francetta, Judy, Diane and Boston 111 . I am sorry for the passing of your dear father. I was Sandra’s freshman roommate in the fall of 1967 at AM&N college along with Opal Gantt. Your Father was a great parent. All your family came with you that Sunday to help move you in your room. Over the years I often thought of you and your family.
