  • My condolences to the family of Charlie Rodgers. Charlie was a very good friend and mentor. May he rest in peace

  • Uncle Charlie was a true American hero to me. He faithfully served his country in the Vietnam War although there was a lot of public sentiment against America’s involvement. I remember as a young boy we took one of our rare out of state trips to visit him and Aunt Sammie and our cousins at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. That made a great impression on me. He also served in Germany for a time. I was so proud of him for the courage he exhibited as a Screaming Eagle of the 101st Airborne Rangers ! Uncle Charlie had many interests including music and sports. After he retired from the military he continued his federal service as a postman. He enjoyed attending sporting events especially track and field. He was very intelligent and had a kind heart . May he Rest in the Peace of Christ with all our Loved Ones who have ascended to Heaven.. Reg Rogers
