CHESTER HOOD, a World War II Veteran, age 100, passed away on July 4, 2021. Survivors: three children: Rita Dokes (Carl), Beverly Jones (Dennis), and Gregory Hood (Rosalind). Visitation, Friday, July 16, 2021, 9 a.m.- 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1421 East 2nd Street, North Little Rock. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., July 16, 2021, also at the church. Burial will be at Little Rock National Cemetery. Arrangements by Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home.

What a wonderful life Mr. Hood had and wonderful children that were dedicated to him until the very end. I have know Beverly for over 25 years and know her to be a caring and giving person. I pray you all have peace about your father’s passing.
He was my great Uncle so cool and I was just talking about going down there to try to see him when sadly he passed.?My mother’s mother baby brother.
