  • To the Harvey Family:
We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Christopher M Harvey. Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sadness. Please allow these comforting words from the scriptures to provide true comfort to all grieving hearts. Yes, the words are from God. HE encourages all grieving hearts to look forward to a time period when sickness and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-4) Just imagine this loving arrangement taking place worldwide. No person will ever get sick, grow old and die. However, there is yet another promise that God provides so that we may gain comfort. This promise deals with the resurrection hope, or the restoring of life back to those who have died. So, letting the scriptures provide the true comfort that is greatly needed today, here is the promise. It is recorded at John 5:28-29. It states that God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Oh, what a truly remarkable promise this is. From the verses, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would take place for a great host of people like Christopher. Until this arrangement begins to take place, we can use this time to give consideration to the nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand resurrection blessing soon to take place. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I truly hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Christopher, and to many others who await their personal awakening from the death sleep of death. In closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
