Clarence Wesley Whitfield, 81, of North Little Rock, departed this life on January 12, 2021, to be with his Lord. He was preceded in death by his son, Elroy O’donald; parents, Clarence and Earnestine Brooks Whitfield; 2 brothers, George Jackson, Sr., Albert Whitfield; 2 sisters, Oclessa Whitfield (Irvin) and Lillie Marie Whitfield (Dobbins). He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his devoted wife of 45 years, Myrtle Land Whitfield; two brothers, Dwight Whitfield and Arthur (Abby) Whitfield of Auro, Mo.; three sisters, Elma J. Givens, Laveta Whitfield, both of North Little Rock, and Shirley (Ricky) Johnson of Scott, Ark.; and, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation is Friday, January 22, 2021, 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Chapel. Masks are required and social spacing is observed. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Rest in Peace Cemetery.
