Deacon Eddie B. Lyles, Sr., transitioned September 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Crockett and Cremoia Lyles, and a daughter, Carolyn Willis. He was the devoted husband for 54 years to the late Pastor Pearlie Liles.
He is survived by: sons, Eddie B. Lyles, Jr. (Betty), and Argentry Lyles, Sr. (Bernice); daughters, Regina Dumas, Sandra Baker and Triedge Christopher; one sister, Bessy Ragland.
The viewing will be Friday, September 18, 2020, 12-5 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home. Masks are required and social spacing is observed. The Graveside service will be Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at Rest In Peace Cemetery. Masks are required and social spacing is observed.
