ERIC SPENCER GARDNER SR. transitioned on December 19, 2018. He was born on July 25, 1954 to the late Alfred, Sr. and Juanita Gardner in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was educated in the Little Rock School District. Following high school, he enlisted and served 4 years in the U.S. Army. Eric matriculated at Arkansas Baptist College and received a Business Administration Degree. He was a federal and state employee.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Alfred, Jr. and Dwight Gardner; sister, Jackie Little; and, sister-in-law, Sharon Gardner. He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Shirley Gardner; children, Eric, Jr. (Charlene), Everett (Keisha), and Justin, all of Little Rock; sisters, Marilyn Conley, Atlanta, Ga., Lolita (Booker T.) Washington, Verna (Tommy) Smith, Little Rock, Alfreda Ashford, Hansen Hills, Calif.; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
