Evelyn Coleman, 92, transitioned from life to her eternal resting place Monday, February 22, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. She was a faithful member of Bullock Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Little Rock, Ark., Rev. Dion Broughton is pastor. Her eldest son, Lester Charles Jones preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: Matthew Norwood, Jr., David Wayne Coleman and Rev. Tracey Evelyn Turner; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be entrusted to Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark.
Walk-through viewing Thursday, February 25, 2021, 12-4:30 p.m., and visitation 4:30-6:00 at the funeral home. Masks are required. Social spacing is observed. Funeral service, 12 noon, Friday, February 26, 2021, Bullock Temple AME Church.
Our condolences to the Coleman family and we always remember our neighbor for the graceful lady she was.
