On Friday, June 3, 2022. Our Heavenly Father called Frederick Henry Jonathan Marks, home. Frederick was born May 16, 1954, to the late Frenchy Jr. and Sarah Marks. Fred, Henry, and Slim, jokingly called, “Lurch,” lived life to the fullest. He attended Little Rock Central High School, served eight years in U.S. Armed Forces-Army Branch, and was employed with the VA Hospital as well as the Little Rock School District. He confessed his faith in Christ at a young age, and throughout his life enjoyed an exciting night at the casino, being among friends, and always a good meal and a sweet sugary treat.
Frederick Marks was proceeded in death by two brothers; Frenchy Marks III and Perry Marks Sr. He leaves four children: Marlo Floyd (Roderick), Frederick Marks (Kandise), Fabian Marks (Charra), and Kianna Marks; four granddaughters, Parker, Payton, Seyven, and Londyn; two sisters, Ethel Knight, and Frances Clinkscale (Robert); and three brothers, Stephen Marks, Paul Marks (Nikki), and Glenn Marks; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Walk-through visitation on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 12 noon to 4:30 p.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock. Masks are required. There is a Livestream for Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00 pm on the Ruffin & Jarrett Facebook page. Graveside service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery 12 noon, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
