  • To the Smith Family:
We are sorry to hear about the recent passing of Henrietta V Smith. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, and friends of the family during this time of great sorrow. May all grieving hearts please draw loving comfort from this recorded promise from God where He tells us about the resurrection blessing soon to take place earth wide. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. In the verses, God tells us that in a future day just ahead of us, that He would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Indeed, what a wonderful promise this is to hear and read about. Really, from this one promise alone, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would surely take place worldwide. So, can the family and friends envision this arrangement taking place? WE understand that some may doubt that the restoring of life would take place. However, we must remember that God is the source of life for all things. (Psalm 36:9) Even if a person dies, God has the power and the desire to make any person whole again. Our Creator wants people everywhere the reside to have this understanding. So, in His great love for us, He has taken the time to preserve nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Henrietta, and a great host of other people who are also waiting to have their lives restored back to them. So, in closing we encourage everyone to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that whenever God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
