Herman “Pops” McGhee 94, of North Little Rock, a retired truck driver, transitioned Sunday, July 11, 2021. During his extensive career, he worked for different companies: Time DC, Consolidated Freightways, Old Dominion, etc.
Survivors: wife, Mildred McGhee; daughter, Rose Booth; siblings, Gladys Burns and Gloria Boynton; two grandchildren, Patrick and Tremmel Booth. Walk-through visitation will be Friday, July 16, from 12-6 p.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral home. Masks are required. Social spacing is observed. Celebration of life will be July 17, 2021, at 11 a.m. at New Calvary Temple COGIC, 1120 Bishop Lindsey Ave, NLR, Ark. Seating is limited due to COVID-19. Service will broadcast live on the New Calvary Temple Facebook page. Masks are required.
