JAMES HUNTER, 101, transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Mr. Hunter was a retired barber and World War II veteran. He was a member of St. Peter’s Rock Baptist Church. His is survived by two daughters: Brenda Hunter-Rockins (Ralph) of Little Rock, and Ernestine Tisdell-Lawrence of Sherwood; one son, Willie Louis Gray (Mary) of McKinney, Texas; one grandson, Christopher Lynch (Hong), Houston, Texas; one great-granddaughter, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Services are to be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Rock Baptist Church, 2207 Brown Street, Little Rock.
Walk-through visitation will be on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock. Masks are required. Social Distancing is observed.
