John H. Harris, Jr, 61, of Lonoke, Ark., passed peacefully on March 18, 2021. He was born on January 13, 1960. He is survived by his loving wife, Hannah Harris; daughters, Brandi Harris and LaTasha (Dishongh) Ellis; sons, Mario Cunningham and John Jones; brother, Alvin (Billie) Waller; sisters, Joyce Allen and Guenetta Harris Gordon; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gussie Charles, Maxine Shackelford, Ruby Jeffries, Vearlon Jeffries, and Jalonda Lane; brothers-in-law, Charles Jeffries and Thurman Jeffries; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be two public walk-through viewings: on Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Lonoke Assembly of God Church, 1763 W Front St, Lonoke, Ark., and on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S Chester St, Little Rock, Ark., from 1-6 p.m. Masks are required. Social spacing is observed. A celebration Of life will be held on Saturday, March 27th, at St. Paul Baptist Church of Little Rock at 11:00, Pastor R. DeShun Coates officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed. The homegoing service will be livestreamed on the St. Paul Baptist Church Facebook page, 2603 Commerce St., Little Rock, Ark.
John will be missed, he is a great friend he always had a smile & he was always fun to be around. Rest In Peace my Friend.
