Mildred Anderson, 91, passed away August 12, 2021. She was retired from the VA Fort Roots, NLR. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, NLR for over 60 years!
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Paula Eckles; sons Marlon (Maxine) and Rowney Torrence, Sr.
Visitation: Friday, August 20th, 12pm-6pm at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock. Funeral services Saturday, August 21st, 11am. Greater Second Baptist Church, 5616 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock 72209.

Paula, you all have my deepest condolences and is in my prayers. I haven’t seen Mrs Mildred in a long time. I remember her well . Really nice lady who always extended an invitation for me to come see her. Love you guys. I know the guys won’t remember me. I use to play with Tiny all the time as kids.
May God wrap His ever loving arms around this family. Trust in Him and follow His lead. For aunt Mildred is and was that tuff glue that held us together. My we continue to use the wisdom she dropped on us.
