PAMELA LANAY HEGWOOD,NÉE STEWART, 68, of Little Rock, Ark., passed Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023. She attended the Historic Horace Mann High School and was a graduate of the Historic transitional class of 1972 at LR Central High School. Pamela was a United States Army Veteran. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and a credit analyst for Transunion Credit Bureau.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Stewart, Jr. and Maria (Anna Mae) Stewart Tynes, née Graves. She leaves to cherish her memories: eldest son, Kevyn Fowler, and his children: Nicholas, Gionna, Bailey and Taniyah; her youngest son, Steve Hegwood, and his children: Alia, Kam, Oryan and a great grandchild, Kartier Spreewell; six brothers: Derrick, Kenneth, Cleofas, Arthur, III, Tommy and Edward; four sisters: Cynthia, Sharon, Treopia and Michelle; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023. Viewing: Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, 2-4 p.m., both services at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark.
Interment with honors will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, 12 noon, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark.
