Staff Sergeant Theodore Roosevelt Hatchett of San Antonio, Texas, transitioned into eternity on June 1, 2024.
Sergeant Hatchett was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elsie Hatchett; four sisters, Katherine Hatchett-Ford, Florence Hatchett-Rollins, Frankie Hatchett-Ray and Linda Hatchett; and one brother, William Hatchett, Esq.
He is survived by three daughters, Chrystal Hatchett Stubbs (Charles), Niani Hatchett, and Nyasha Hatchett; two sons, Theodore Maxwell Hatchett, and Noah Hatchett; grandchildren, Avery Parkins, Chauncy Stubbs, and Khairi Gourley; three sisters, Dr. Minnie Hatchett and Gwendolyn Hatchett of Little Rock, Ark., and Elsie McCormick of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, Frank E. Hatchett Jr., of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews and loving family members.
Staff Sergeant Hatchett was a career military servant, serving as a military police officer for 20 years in the United States, Germany, and Kuwait. Ted served his country with dignity and honor and received numerous awards and recognitions.
His memorial service will be held at New Dora Baptist Church, 317 Jamison Avenue, North Little Rock, Ark. 72217, at 11 a.m. on June 15, 2024.
