Tom V. Burl Sr. – 1928–2018

Tom V. Burl Sr., of North Little Rock, passed on September 28, 2018. Mr. Burl was a native of Readland in Chicot County, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva Mae Hill Burl; and sons, Tom V. Burl, Jr., and Robert Burl. Mr. Burl was retired from Philander Smith College. He is survived by: Arlene Fair, Gregory Burl (Kathy), Todd Mason, Tonia Cooper, Teresa Burl and Paul Burl; siblings, Cloteal Hunter (James), and Leon Burl (Erika).

Services will be held at Greater Archview Baptist Church, 1720 W. 23rd Street, Little Rock, at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018. The family hour will be at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202. (501) 372-1305, 6-7 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018.
