WILMA LYLES ANDERSON transitioned into Glory on April 2, 2023. She was born October 18, 1922 to Willie Lyles and Faye Earnestine Bullock Lyles. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Sam Anderson; sister, Eloise King; and sons-in-law, Willie Clark and Robert Harrison.
She is survived by three daughters: LaVerne Clark, Dr. Izora Harrison, and Deborah Anderson; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 12 from 2-6 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral home, 1200 South Chester Street. The Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Greater Archview Baptist Church 1720 West 23rd Street.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families. I was so honored to meet Mrs. Anderson when she visited her grand daughter in Dallas .I was amazed by her strength and tenacity she will be missed. Love the Thomas family pray for healing love you all
